the hotel factory Once again we are back to to introduce you to our new consultant that has recently joined our team. As you know, the hotel factory has extended its workforce in its offices in Palma and Madrid.

For this reason, we have asked them to tell us more about themselves and to share it with all of you during the upcoming weeks. We have a couple of questions ready for them to answer, and with them we hope that you can learn a little more about them than what you can learn on the Team tab on our website where you can find all of the team members at the hotel factory.

We are pleased to introduce you to Victoria González Mascaró, one of our new consultants who has joined us in our office in Palma de Mallorca.

THF: Tell us a bit about yourself, a summary of how you got here.

I was born in Palma de Mallorca, but I’ve been lucky enough to live in different countries until this moment, countries like Venezuela, Italy and England. I completed my studies in Business administration at the University of the Balearic Islands with an Erasmus program in Rome. After my graduation I carried out two internship programmes, one of them was with the Leonardo Da Vinci scholarship at a NGO in London and the other was at a Touroperator in Mallorca. Subsequently, I joined the labour market working at Lowcostholidays when this company decided to move its Financial Department to Palma de Mallorca. There I carried out many tasks in the financial department for 2 years and 6 months until the company was declared bankrupt last july.
After two months and a half of travelling around Asia I came back to Mallorca with my batteries charged to join the hotel factory’s team.

THF: Now we come to the questions. What do you like the most about the hotel factory and which is the first word that comes to mind when we talk about the company?

What I like the most about the hotel factory is that I can I keep up with all the latest trends in hotels and in the tourism sector, as well as being in a continuously-learning process. So the first word that comes to mind is knowledge.

THF: Your greatest weakness, what can’t you resist?

I love animals, but without a doubt dogs are one of my greatest weaknesses, along with my nieces face, organizing trips, people cooking for me… I think I have too many weaknesses!

THF: With what do you disagree?

Inequities and lack of knowledge about the rest of the world and nature.

THF: What do you like to do during your free time, do you practice any sport?

I like walking around on this beautiful Island, discovering spots and trying new bars and restaurants. I usually go to the gym a couple of times a week to keep my body and mind balanced and when there are good waves I like to surf.

victoriaTHF: Books or films, coffee or tea, and why?

Films, because I don’t have enough time to read everything I would like to. Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon, british style!

THF: Any secret you would like to share with us?

Secrets are secrets…

THF: What was your last trip?

The last country I visited was Indonesia during my small route around Asia.

THF: Something that scares you.

Illnesses with no cure.

THF: How do you get energy for your day to day life?

I’m a very active person, to be constantly doing things gives me a lot of energy

THF: What would you say to yourself 5 years ago?

That time flies!

And here ends our little interview. If you want to know more about her and the rest of the team members of the hotel factory, don’t hesitate to visit the Team tab on our website or look for us on LinkedIn where you can also find latest news of the hotel sector.
