By Tomeu Bordoy

Today we are back with another presentation of our new consultants in our team. If you missed our latest interviews and don’t know what this means, we invite you to check out our latest posts on our website including presentations of the additions to our team and interesting posts about our work.
If you don’t feel like searching, this is a summary for you: the hotel factory has extended its workforce in its offices in Palma and Madrid.

For this reason, we have asked them to tell us more about themselves and to share it with all of you during the upcoming weeks. We have a couple of questions ready for them to answer, and with them we hope that you can learn a little more about them than what you can learn on the Team tab on our website where you can find all of the team members at the hotel factory.

We are pleased to introduce you to Paloma Benzo San Martín, one of our new consultants who has joined us in our office in Palma de Mallorca.

THF: Tell us a bit about yourself, a summary of how you got here.

I’m from Madrid, I studied Industrial Engineering and I moved to the island for personal reasons. When I asked acquaintances about a company in which my skills are of added value and that has carried out great projects, I was told about the hotel factory.

THF: Now we come to the questions. What do you like the most about the hotel factory and which is the first word that comes to mind when we talk about the company?

The fact that it’s so computerized, the company is always up to date with new emerging technologies. Previously I was working at a multinational company in which we hardly used excel or power point. Here everything is organized, uploaded on to the cloud and available with just a couple of clicks.
When I hear about the hotel factory, factories that I learnt about during my studies come to mind but they have nothing to do with what we do here (hahahah).

THF: Your greatest weakness, what can’t you resist?

Chocolate

THF: With what do you disagree?

White socks with sandals.

THF: What do you like to do during your free time, do you practice any sport?

Stroll around, and when I get the chance I go skiing.

PalomaTHF: Books or films, coffee or tea, and why?

Books, I’m old school in this aspect. Coffee to start the day with energy.

THF: Any secret you would like to share with us?

Nothing special, I’m a very normal girl.

THF: What was your last trip?

A Baltic cruise, the idea of being 7 days on a boat, visiting many cities and not having to move your luggage is great. Although I’m already dreaming about the Austrian Alps which I’m going to visit in January.

THF: Something that scares you.

Bad neighbourhoods.

THF: How do you get energy for your day to day life?

I’m happy, so that fills me with energy.

THF: What would you say to yourself 5 years ago?

That the hard decisions that I took were worth it.

And here ends our little interview. If you want to know more about her and the rest of the team members of the hotel factory, don’t hesitate to visit the Team tab on our website or look for us on LinkedIn where you can also find latest news of the hotel sector.
