This is the last interview, so it’s the last post about our new team members.
We have already posted 5 so we hope that you are more familiar with our team by now, or at least with our new additions.

As usual, we asked our latest team member to tell us a bit more about herself, not only studies or professional experience, which you can find on the Team tab on our website, but also to answer a few questions.

We are pleased to introduce you to Camila L. Ortiz Jaramillo, the latest entered to our team, the first consultant that directly joined our new office in Madrid.

THF: Tell us a bit about yourself, a summary of how you got here.

I’m from Colombia, specifically the capital, Bogotá, where I carried out my studies in Business Administration. Working as a Spa Manager at a known hotel in Bogotá, I learned to manage employees and customers. I met wonderful people that taught me not to have prejudices, the meaning of friendship, to laugh at everything good or bad, and that all circumstances happen for a reason. Working there I decided to put myself out there, start a new adventure and come to Spain alone to make one of my dreams come true, and here I am.

THF: Now we come to the questions. What do you like the most about the hotel factory and which is the first word that comes to mind when we talk about the company?

The way its’ methodology is perfectly organised and designed for each and every project, so it’s carried out adequately.
When I think of the hotel factory I think about Creativity.

THF: Your greatest weakness, what can’t you resist?

Chocolate, ice cream and pastries, everything sweet .

THF: With what do you disagree?

Bad smells, I am very sensitive (hahahaha). I don´t support them.

THF: What do you like to do during your free time, do you practice any sport?

Gym, yoga or meditation. What I like the most is to travel, it doesn’t matter if it’s to the sea or to the mountains. I would like my next trip to be to Thailand.

camilaTHF: Books or films, coffee or tea, and why?

Coffee, I´m from the land where you drink coffee at any time of the day.
Books, I can’t miss them on a rainy afternoon. I like novels and neuro-linguistic programming books.
Concerning films, I like all types of films from horror to comedy, specially to disconnect.

THF: Any secret you would like to share with us?

My hobby is horse riding and I love dogs. I find the sea relaxing. I would like to find a way to help others in need. And I love dancing, as good Colombians like to.

THF: What was your last trip?

It wasn´t my last one but it was most impressive: Florence! A lovely city, unique. Ponte Vecchio during the night with live music, people from everywhere in the world, an unforgettable night.

THF: Something that scares you.

Illnesses.

THF: How do you get energy for your day to day life?

Dreaming and finding ways to achieve those dreams.

THF: What would you say to yourself 5 years ago?

To never stop dreaming and keep fighting for what one wants.

And here ends our little interview. If you want to know more about her and the rest of the team members of the hotel factory, don’t hesitate to visit the Team tab on our website or look for us on LinkedIn where you can also find latest news of the hotel sector.
