This past Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th of November the Hospitality Recruitment Forum Vatel has taken place in Hotel Meliá Avenida América de Madrid which was Organized by Hotel & Tourism Business School Vatel. At this important event, national and multinational companies, Human Resources consultants, and headhunters attended to the Forum with the objective of incorporating professionals into their current or future selection processes.

In this way, the companies and entities that attend the show share their policies and their open or future processes, professional development in the company, their activity, and corporate culture. And so, students of Bachelor’s Degree or MBA studies could personally present their CVs and their candidacies directly to the people responsible for selecting and attracting talent to the companies and entities that attended the Recruitment Forum. the hotel factory has attended to this appointment and we can say that it has been a success. We have been able to see in firsthand the interest that our work and our company cause among the participants of the event.

We have answered many questions about our company, our projects, and the experience or studies needed to integrate into our team. More than fifteen curriculums have been presented, and we have been able to approach the rest of the participating companies that made up the Forum.

We must also mention that the hotel factory has been one of the companies (together with Barceló, H10, Hospes Hotels, Placement International, Hilton, or PGA Catalunya Resort among others) that have participated in the round table discussion about “Benefits and Career Plan in companies of the sector”; where the students have been able to ask their concerns and to learn more about the career and development plans within the companies in the sector.

Finally, after a long day of interviews with the students, the event concluded with a professional meeting between the different participating companies where we were able to share our point of view on tourism, its evolution, as well as the interest shown by the students to join to this sector.

We can only say goodbye to this event giving thanks to the invitation from Vatel Madrid and congratulating the excellent organization with which this Forum of Hotel Companies has counted, to which we will definitely return next year.
