Today we have the honor of introducing you to the hotel factory’s team. The company was part of a project consisting in attraction and retainment of millennial talent alongside with the consultancy firm Go Consulting, due to their talent being based on team motivation, professionalism and ability of managing talent.
the hotel factory decided to invest in its main asset, its team, so they visited Marbella for two days to share with all of the members of its team the vision of the company’s future and get to know first-hand one of the most emblematic and successful projects carried out by the hotel factory, Amàre Marbella Beach Hotel.
During this outdoor experience, the following was prioritized by means of a schedule of activities: interpersonal relationships with the objective of improving teamwork and communication, resolution of any current conflicts and to integrate the whole team in new strategies and changes for the improvement of the company’s future.
Initial contact
With the purpose of learning about one of the most successful projects of the company and one of our best clients, the business partners decided that the team would spend a night at the Amàre Marbella Beach hotel, and therefore have the opportunity to meet Mr. José Luque managing director at Fuerte Hoteles, who explained the project and the help that he received from the hotel factory during the conceptualization and repositioning of the former hotel Fuerte Miramar to transform it into their star product Amàre Marbella Beach. Furthermore, they had the chance take a guided tour of the hotel with Jordi Cuenca, the interior designer of the hotel, who thanked the hotel factory for their conceptualization project which made it easier for him to accomplish a lifestyle based hotel where sea views, open spaces, nature and water are a priority.
Break
After tasting the delicious buffet of the hotel, the team visited the old town in Marbella where they got lost between the charm of its narrow streets, andalusian white buildings and balconies with flowers and Flamenco details, small shops, bars, restaurants and squares that suddenly open up such as la Plaza de los naranjos. To end this pleasant evening and enjoy a full moon night, all of the members of the team headed to a skybar lounge where they appreciated the magnificent views of the center of Marbella.
Guided visit
After recharging energy with a great breakfast at Amàre Marbella Beach Hotel, the team visited the Gran Melià Don Pepe for a guided visit. At the visit they toured all of the common areas of the hotel for instance the pool, reception and the lobby. They also learned about the different points of sale that the hotel has at their customers disposal like the Oyster & caviar champagne bar, la Palapa, Whisky lounge and Darcis, amongst others. Afterwards, two of the most important rooms of the hotel were shown to the team: the incredible and luxurious Suite Moet & Chandon, located in the attic of the hotel and the RedLevel junior suite, with panoramic views to the Mediterranean Sea and the center of Marbella and Puerto Banús and decorated with an elegant style. After that, they visited the exclusive Melià RedLevel zone where they learned all about of the services that this zone has to offer.
The departure
The team members met with Go Consulting in the hotel El Fuerte to get to know the hotel factory’s timeline; the story of how it started, a highlight of the projects that have been carried out during the last 7 years and its vision of future, as well as the strategies that are being implemented to reach the firm’s goal in 2020.The best practices needed to become best place to work for millennials, teamwork, internationalization, training, communication, learning and retainment of workers were the topics put into value.
To end the outdoor experience, the team enjoyed a pleasant lunch at the Beach Club at Amare Marbella Beach Hotel.
Finally, to conclude the post, we would like to thank the hotel factory partners on behalf of the whole team for giving us the opportunity to have gotten to know first hand one of the company’s most emblematic projects, the opportunity to be part of the strategy and to take our opinions into consideration.
