Another year comes to an end and there are many experiences that have been lived in the hotel factory; new successful projects, satisfied clients, and an unprecedented growth in our offices. This is why the company has decided to invest in its main asset, the people, going for two days to the Costa de Valencia to share with the whole team the great results and the vision of the company’s future, as well as to know first-hand one of the most emblematic and successful projects carried out by the hotel factory, the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort.
During this outdoor priority was given to these areas through a great program of activities: interpersonal relations with the objective of improving the work teams, communication, and the integration of the whole team in the knowledge of the new strategies and changes for the improvement of the future of the company.
Transfer
In order to get familiar with one of the company’s most successful projects and one of our most important clients, the partners decided that the team would stay at Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort hotel. For this purpose, the members of the hotel factory headed towards the Valencian coast, enjoying a trip full of laughs and a lot of emotion.
Christmas dinner
After arriving at the destination, it was time for the team of the hotel factory to dress up in their best clothes and attend to the Christmas dinner organized in one of the rooms specially prepared for the occasion. The consultants were able to enjoy an evening marked by exquisite dishes and good humor; finally concluding with the delivery of the gifts from Secret Santa and serving themselves all together at the hotel bar.
Activities
The next morning, the whole got equipped for the team building activities. The first event was a geocaching by groups; chasing tracks and locations through points around the resort, being able to get to know one of the company’s projects first-hand. Members of the hotel factory were able to tour the beach and the dunes, play on the golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros, and score goals in the FIFA soccer fields. All this without counting the equestrian center with the capacity for more than 1,000 horses, the new apartments built under the name of Las Dunas and the renovation of the hotel Oliva Nova, where the activity ended in the new suite with the jacuzzi made of volcanic stones.
Once all the caches were found and, to whet the appetite, the teams participated in a paella competition. In the hands of the chef “El Flac”, the consultants learned how to prepare the typical Valencian dish.
Before proceeding to the final tasting, Luis Borho, general manager of the Oliva Nova resort, had a few words of thanks to the team of the hotel factory and reaffirming the enthusiasm and commitment to work together in our projects for further improvement of the company.
Vision
To conclude the intense day, the partners met in one of the event rooms to discuss with the rest of the hotel factory the results of this year 2017; reviewing the innovative projects in which it has participated, the new clients, and the great successes of the year. They finished the meeting with the explanation of the next steps to follow in 2018 and letting the consultants present their questions and concerns to the management team.
Finally, the outdoor ended with awarding the prize to the best team of the day and immortalizing the great experience that the whole team of the hotel factory has enjoyed with a photo on the stairs of the entrance of the hotel.
It was a trip for two days full of emotions and great experiences that none of the members of the hotel factory team can easily forget. Not only because of the possibility of enjoying together the team building activities with the rest of the team , but also for having first-hand knowledge of one of the most emblematic projects of the company and the opportunity to be part of its corporate strategy. And with that we said goodbye with the hope that next year we can travel again together and live again an even better experience if possible.
