The hotel factory has received various information about hotel assets for sale, so to make the most out of the boom that the hotel transaction market is experiencing, we have decided to update our website with all of the blind profiles of the hotels that we have received, with the purpose of collaborating and intermediating in the sale of these hotel assets.
During this present year 2016 multiple hotel transactions have taken place in Mallorca, the most recent ones are:
Allsun purchased a hotel that had been operated up to the date by Vincci hotels, Vincci Bosc del Mar (4*, 236 rooms) in Cala Ratjada (Source: Alimarket)
Debut of Hoteles Elba in Mallorca: acquired Torrenova hotel (3*, 199 rooms) in Palmanova (Source: Preferente)
OnaHotels added the Mar-Bell hotel (3*, 90 rooms) in Puerto de Sóller to its portfolio (Source: Preferente)

So far in 2016, the following have been the most notorious investors:
In addition to acquiring the Vincci Bosc del Mar, Allsun Hotels has added to its portfolio of hotels Riviera Playa (3*, 74 Rooms) in the area of Playa de Palma – S’Arenal, and Paguera Park (4*, 182 Rooms) in Paguera, both of which are on rent basis. (Source: Alimarket).
They have purchased many hotel assets in Spain during 2016. In Mallorca they purchased Hilton Sa Torre (5*, 104 Rooms) in Llucmajor. (Source: Hosteltur).
The Majorcan hotel company HM Hotels has acquired during the past months Ayron Park (3*, 145 Rooms), Hotel Kroos (3*, 112 Rooms) and the Hotel Dunas Blancas (3*, 167 Rooms), all of them located in the same area, Playa de Palma – S’Arenal. (Source: Hosteltur).
They have purchased in 2016 Aparthotel Isabel (3*, 113 Rooms) in Cala Bona and the Rural Hotel Es Figueral Nou (4*, 25 Rooms) in Montuïri. (Source: Hosteltur).
Back in 2015, the following investors carried out multiple hotel transactions:
Bought two hotels in Paguera, Palmira Beach (4*, 246 Rooms) y Palmira Cormorán (4*, 150 Rooms) and two more in Cala Millor, Sumba (4*S, 280 Rooms) y Borneo (4*S, 200 Rooms). Additionally, they signed an operating lease contract initially of 7 years for two hotels in Paguera, Palmira Paradise (4*, 150 Rooms) and Palmira Paguera (3*, 100 habitaciones). (Source: Alimarket)
They sold 7 hotels around Spain, two of which were sold to Starwood Capital (Sol Mirlos 4* and Sol Trodos 4* in Palmanova) and the Complejo Calas de Mallorca (3*, 875 habitaciones) to an unknown investor. (Source: Alimarket).
Bay Hotels & Leisure, S.A. (BAY), created by Hispania and Barceló, entailed the acquisition and subsequent signing of a long-term leasing contract of a total of 16 hotels, of which 3 are in Mallorca: Barceló Cala Viñas (4*, 326 Rooms) in Calvia, Barceló Ponent Playa (3*, 430 Rooms) in Cala Ferrera and Barceló Pueblo Park (4*, 276 Rooms) in Playa de Palma (Source: Hosteltur).
With the backing of the Alchemy investment fund, Feel Hotels purchased all 6 hotels from Marina Hotels’ portfolio. These hotels are all 3 to 4 star located in Mallorca and Ibiza: Torrenova, Luz, Skorpios, Corfú and Delfín Verde in Mallorca and Panorama in Ibiza. (Source: Preferente).
The architect Emilio Nadal purchased the majorcan hotel chain Delfin Hotels (founded in 1994), including a portfolio of 4 hotels, all of them located in Santa Ponsa and Palmanova. These hotels were Delfin Siesta Mar (4*, 113 Rooms), Delfín Playa (4*, 144 Rooms), Delfín Mar (4*, 89 Rooms) and the Delfín Casa Vida apartments (2 keys). (Source: Preferente).
The Ibizan hotel chain opened their first hotel in Palma. Azuline acquired the Bahamas hotel (3*, 239 Rooms), located in the area of El Arenal. (Source: Alimarket).
Fergus Hotels added Club Europa (3*) to its portfolio, becoming their first hotel in Paguera. Previously, they were responsible for the operation of the hotels Pax & Barracuda in Magaluf. (Source: Hosteltur).
The Majorcan hotel chain MLL Hotels, purchased earlier this year the Alejandría hotel (3*, 244 Rooms) located in Playa de Palma. (Source: MLL Hotels).
