the hotel factory continues growing, not only in new and interesting projects, but also regarding to its own team. In the last month two new promotions have been made among the staff who was already part of the team tab of the hotel factory.
Therefore, as we usually do, we have asked the people who have received this promotion to tell us something more about themselves, not only their studies or professional experience, which you can always find information about with the rest of the team of the hotel factory at our website, but also more personal questions.
Today we would like to introduce you to Borja Prim Méndez our new senior consultant from our office in Palma since last May.
THF: Tell us a bit about yourself, a summary of how you got here.
After living in Madrid for 2 years, I returned to Palma to study the MBA in Business Management of Services of the UIB. After the master’s degree and to work in a financial advisory for a few months, a place was vacant to be at the front of the Transaction area of the hotel factory, and here I am, since almost a year and a half.
THF: Now we come to the questions. What do you like the most about the hotel factory
Methodology. It is the key to carrying out a good consulting project. Contrasting and analyzing information is critical.
THF: How do you feel about your promotion to senior consultant?
Very excited, grateful for the opportunity, and looking forward to continue growing and achieve the objectives set.
THF: Your greatest weakness, what can’t you resist?
The sea, and well, water in general. If I see water, especially the sea, I need to get in, no matter how cold it is.
THF: With what do you disagree?
The smell of tobacco and people who mistreat animals, are the two things that give me the most anger.
THF: What do you like to do during your free time, do you practice any sport?
Doing sport, especially when the good weather begins when I can do the two sports that I passionate about: beach volleyball and wakeboarding.
THF: Books or films, coffee or tea, and why?
Movies, and one behind the other if need be. Neither coffee nor tea, eternal problem in the days of sleep. I do not like neither. Those who know me know that my secret weapon is Red Bull.
THF: Any secret you would like to share with us?
I am a little maniacal about the order and placement of things in my house. I like to have everything tidy, the hangers looking towards the same side, the shirts by colors, etc.
THF: What was your last trip?
Thailand. It was my first transoceanic trip, and what better destination than one of the most beautiful places in Southeast Asia. Totally recommended.
THF: Something that scares you.
Although I like to watch scary movies, I’m a little scary, I jump and scream with every fright, and then the plot of the movie accompanies me home and I do not like to be in the dark.
THF: How do you get energy for your day to day life?
Going to train almost every day to the gym and moving around with my motorbike, helps to get to work cleared; Without forgetting some other Red Bull.
THF: What would you say to yourself 5 years ago?
That he was always himself, and that no fall is great enough that he can not rise again.
