Guests can also enjoy <\/span><b>customization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with a fast casual concept.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This past February, members of our team in Palma de Mallorca carried out a Fam trip for one of our clients to observe F&amp;B offerings and trends in hotels in Tenerife and M\u00e1laga. During this trip, our team was able to visit hotels which positioned themselves as best in class in terms of Food &amp; Beverage. To provide you some insights on our trip, the following gastronomical best practices and trends are a few of the key findings observed in the hotels:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left; margin-right: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thehotelfactory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/showcooking.jpg\" alt=\"showcooking\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fusion cuisine<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Fusion cuisine combines flavors from different cultures, and many of the restaurants that we observed had dishes with unexpected flavors. For example, many restaurants combined Mediterranean cuisine with Japanese or American cuisine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Themed restaurant<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Another trend that we saw throughout the hotels in Tenerife and Malaga were themed restaurants, which were usually related to culture. Italian, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants were among the most common. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Open kitchen concept with show cooking:<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Guests are able to see how their food is being made and receive entertainment simultaneously with this observed trend.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Buffet \/ dining area<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thehotelfactory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/buffet.jpg\" alt=\"buffet\" width=\"428\" height=\"231\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Healthy corners<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Consumers are interested about their fitness and health now more than ever. Healthy corners were available at many buffets for these guests.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baby food corner<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: In addition to catering to the needs of health conscious guests, many buffets provided a specific selection for families with babies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Child friendly buffet adapted to all their needs<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Many buffets were also altered to meet the needs of children. For example, buffets had food options that appealed to children or had a shorter table height to make it easier for kids to reach.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rotating themed nights<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Themed nights make guests excited and a lot of cool decor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sense of place<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: This is the setting of the F&amp;B outlet that give the guests the sensation of belonging to the destination.
